Blackheath Wedding Planner VWUK – Hannah and Anthony, Our lovely wedding couple we call the ‘Blackheath Beckhams’ came to us back in June 2017 to help with the planning of their wedding day.
Hannah and Anthony had already booked their wedding reception at the exclusive InterContinental O2 Greenwich Hotel and the All Saints Church in Blackheath They were entrepreneurs and had very busy lifestyles but when I had the pleasure of meeting them both (and their beautiful dog Albert) there was a tremendous rapport. We were all instantly on the same page and Hannah had a clear idea of how she wanted their wedding to be. The day had to have class, style and sophistication and be inspired by the 1920’s era with Hollywood Stars and Glamour. Hannah’s main concern was not knowing how to go about putting it altogether. Before meeting with me they were looking for partial help with creating the look and although money was not a issue, they did not want to spend more than what was necessary. They felt that our Affordable Luxury Services would be the perfect fit and opted for our full comprehensive planning service.
It was just one week after the nation were closely tuned into their television sets watching the Royal Wedding of Prince Harry and Megan Markle that it became reality for our couple being next in line to becoming husband and wife. The early hours started grey with a little drizzle but as the day progressed, it went on to being a hot sunny day with temperatures 28C by midday. Our team worked Behind The Scenes with all the suppliers to ensure everything in both locations ran smoothly. Bowshire and Floral Explosion did a superb job with the flowers and styling. Charlie from Macaulay Scott designed stunning wedding stationery and images, Buffy Rowe and her string quartets played delightful arrival and procession music while everything was perfectly timed for the arrival of the bride. Hannah arrived at the church in a Vintage Rolls Royce I went to greet her and could not hold back the tears of joy with how beautiful she had looked! Emma the Makeup Queen did a fantastic job with the hair and makeup for the bridal party. Hannah’s elegant wedding dress and bridesmaids dresses where carefully designed by Eliza Jane Howell who specialises in vintage wedding garments.
Hannah and Anthony became Mr & Mrs Martin at 14.00 and guests where picked up by the London Bus Company and brought to the Greenwich reception with the bridesmaids followed by their Vintage Old Taxis Guests enjoyed the wedding breakfast and evening receptions complimentary food and beverages. The night went off in full swing where guests were nicely entertained by the Vintage Photobooth Company and DJ James
